The readings are off the scale.
The homeowner said it was “just a bit of condensation.” Then the walls started weeping, the plaster turned black, and something rose out of the flooded cellar. Moisture meter screaming red in one hand, DPC cream gun in the other, slime dripping off his hi-vis. They call him The Damp Demon, the damp proofer who’s been injecting walls for decades… and never once found the source.
This isn’t just a Halloween t-shirt. It’s a warning from below the damp course, made for the damp proofers, preservation specialists and surveyors who know rising damp is the least of your worries.
